Whats a good PS3 RPG?

I've been looking around quite a bit and can't seem to find anything but I thought I'd ask here before giving up altogether. I'm looking for a good RPG for the PS3 system. More specifically I'm looking for a game similar to the Zelda or even the PS2's Dark Cloud series. Character customization in the sense of gear/weapons/spells etc. Medivel is prefered but would love to hear any suggestions. This game is mainly for my wife. I play Oblivion for PS3 (cant wait for Skyrim!) and have tried getting her into that but shes more into console games and likes the cartoonier look. If there is anything out there along these lines I would love to hear about it, if not I may just have to get her hooked back up to twilight princess on Wii (soon to be skyward sword i hear).
