Am I weird for wanting a simplistic wedding?

I don't blame you at all I feel the same, we are having a simple ceremony with our 5 children (2nd marriage for us both) my parents and his mother, then we are going to take them out to an amazing restaurant to celebrate. Mind you not told his mother this yet and I can foresee arguments there that we have to invite such and such but that is their culture and not what we want.
