How many times a day should i feed a 7 year old chiwawa?

forgive me for spelling chiwawa wrong but im in a hurry! my 7 year chiwawa wont realy eat in the morning but how many times should a chiwawa be given food a day and is it ok to let him sleep in the crate he has a nice bed but when im sleep he pees on my carpet is it ok if i let him sleep in his cage
